About Phoenix
Or you could just call me Lina.
My Story
I’ve always loved watching TV, and I even wrote little stories when I was younger. The idea of fanfiction only presented itself to me in 2019, when I was falling deep for Miraculous, realizing Western Animation wasn’t just “for kids.” So I started rather poor attempts at making my own plots where my favorite characters got the love and appreciation they deserved.
Why Fanfiction?
It began as practice: Improving my English, working on my grammar errors, developing a sense for pacing and storytelling. Briefly, handling language differently than in school. It felt easier to work with existing characters and familiar environments, as I could focus entirely on my target language. Now, four years later, I’m well into writing as a hobby and trying to broaden my horizon with different fandoms and styles – training in hopes that one day I will write my very own book.

Personal Life
I’m not good at describing myself because I instantly forget everything I’ve ever known. I live near Cologne in Germany, have a cat, and literally always wear black. My pronouns are she/her. Besides funny depression jokes, my few friends say I’m kind and supportive (apparently, I’m IFSJ), and I’m an activist for feminism, LGBTQ+, and other important topics. I speak German, English, some French, and learned Latin in school. I love queer shows and nostalgic Disney cartoons. And I listen to Taylor Swift while writing this.
“I always forget the names of my stories. Something like a library would be great. You know, like Archive of Our Own with pictures.”
